This is the soundtrack to a great Irish language film Arracht (which means monster). It is set during the famine and traces the tragic story of one man. And who is the monster? The answer to that question only becomes clearer as the action unfolds. Produced by Cúán Mac Conghail (Macalla), directed by Tom Sullivan the film's music won an IFTA (Irish Film and Television Award) for best soundtrack to a feature film in 2019. Stunning performances from Dara Devaney and Dónal Ó Héalaí grace this wonderful work.
